Foreman Training Program

ABC Arkansas, and training partner FMI, will be providing a two-day professional development course for Superintendent/Field Leadership on March 6th & 7th in North Little Rock! Training will focus particularly in the areas of productivity, time management, effective communication & negotiations all with the aim of driving world class leadership.

Day 1:
Productivity and Time Management
  • Defining the tools for world class productivity
  • Identification of the barriers to productivity within an organization
  • Understand how to manage time more efficiently
  • Examine the "clutter" that affects true time management
  • Understand the value of DELEGATION as a leader and how it relates to being a superior time manager
  • Exercise - "Pipeworks" - An illustration of productivity 

Day 2:
Leadership and Management
  • Examination of the traits of great leaders and great managers
  • Define the elements of POC (Management) and SAM (Leadership)
  • Action plan - the steps needed for channeling one's own leadership identity
  • Understand the value of communication and negotiation
  • Examine the different generations - particularly the millennials - and capture their hearts and minds
  • Exercise - "The Frame" - An illustration of project leadership

Our mission in offering this type of training is simple: Provide a world-class training and educational forum for our ABC members, with the aim of providing practical and pertinent business skills and ultimately developing future field leaders in our member firms!
