Occupational Licensing Forum Breakfast

Occupational Licensing is a hot topic right now and the construction industry is gearing up to stand up for what's best for contractors. There are legislators fighting at the Capitol for less restrictions on licensing in order to have more consumer freedom. ABC Arkansas and other trade associations are fighting back by educating our legislators on the inevitable safety concerns that will come from major changes to occupational licensing. In order to address this issue, Governor Asa Hutchinson formed the Red Tape Reduction Working Group to determine who should have less restrictions and who should remain under traditional licensing laws.

Join us for breakfast on Wednesday, September 5th followed by a forum with our speaker panel made up of members of the Red Tape Reduction Working Group and a member of the Occupational Licensing Advisory Group. They will discuss the proposed licensing bills expected to be filed this coming session and why it's our responsibility as an industry to keep our legislators informed!

We encourage all members to attend and participate in the discussion.

*There is No Charge for Members to attend.*
**Non Members will be charged a $15 entry fee.**
