Position Summary:

CDI Contractors is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Little Rock office. The qualified candidate will report directly to the Assistant Controller and will provide Accounts Payable support for our operations across the country.



  • Review and process subcontractor billings. Research and resolve discrepancies when/if needed.
  • Assist in subcontractor compliance.
  • Prepare and process check runs and receipts.
  • Responsible for obtaining, scanning and filing of subcontractor billing and cash receipts.
  • Assist with monthly owner billings.
  • Help with audit requests.
  • Assist other internal departments with accounts payable questions and payment information.
  • Responsible for 1099’s at year end and maintenance of Form W-9.



  • 3-5 years of experience with construction accounts payable.
  • Planning, prioritizing and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills (interaction with vendors, & team members).

Equipment Sales Support


Summary: Assists in selling products to commercial sheet metal and mechanical HVAC contractors, industrial and commercial building owners, and mechanical consulting engineers and architects in both the plans/spec and design/build markets.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

  • Work together with Outside Sales Associates.
  • Place orders and manage jobs until invoiced.
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate job status with Sales team, customers, vendors, and accounting department.
  • Compile IOM’s and process warranty documents.
  • Review jobs for proper cost and billing.
  • Do an inventory count for items we keep in stock.



  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn industry terminology.
  • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Works well in group problem solving situations.
  • Teamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

Education and/or Experience:                                                 

High school diploma. HVAC office experience welcomed, but not required.
