Central BBQ Competition

Join us for ABC's 5th Annual Barbeque Competition on May 30th! The main Build-B-Q event will be hosted at the ABC/ACTA facility in North Little Rock but is open to members state-wide!

Whether you plan on entering a team for a chance to compete, or just want to come out for a great networking lunch, we'd love to have you!

Registration is Required. Team spots are limited - first come, first served!

Additional Info:

All teams are given a 12x12 cooking area. Email megan@abcark.org for special requests such as more space or electricity. If you would like to donate a raffle item or any promotional items to be given out at the Cook-Off, please bring them to the ABC office no later than May 23rd. If you plan on staying in town over night, we recommend booking a room at the Hampton Inn Maumelle - 11920 Maumelle Blvd, Maumelle, AR 72113. To reserve your room, call (501) 851-6600. 

Tentative Schedule of Events:

11:30 a.m. - BBQ Feast 

1:30 p.m. - Chicken Judging

2:00 p.m. - Pork Ribs Judging

2:30 p.m. - Pulled Pork Judging

3:00 p.m. - Prizes

Note: ABC/ACTA will be open at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29th for team arrivals and will have a security guard on site all night. 

*BBQ Team Cancellation Policy & Fine Print

Team registration deadline is Friday, May 23rd or until spots are full. 72-hour notice must be given for cancellations. Substitutions are permitted. No-shows and late cancellations will be charged the full amount.
